Rural Correspondence Whanau

Living rurally and being disconnected is a huge disadvantage for correspondence learning. Snail mail is not a feature of correspondence schools any more - the internet is. Computers in Homes is piloting a programme to assist Te Kura (Correspondence School) families with laptops and internet connections. So far three families in the Canterbury area have been supported. Their appreciation is immense.
